Safe, because our dyes permanently bond to the fiber, thereby eliminating run -off pollution to the environment or exposure to the human skin.
Tye Brand also uses the safest ink available for yours and your baby's clothing. This water based ink is free of PVC and is much more environmentally friendly than the industry-standard plasticized inks. It does not contain ozone-depleting chemicals such as CFC's and HCFC's, aromatic hydrocarbons or any volatile solvents. It requires only water for clean-up. Tye Brand's print design is exceptionally durable and will hold up to normal cold washing and low drying. We've tested it ourselves. We are currently offering an organic long sleeve onesie and knot hat for our little customers and a 70% bamboo/30% organic cotton tee shirt for the ladies who have that preference. We fully intend to incorporate additional organic items as we are able to locate quality fabrics that meet our tough guidelines. We seek out suppliers who practice fair trade policies amongst other requirements. Finally, we re-use 99% of the paper product used in color production, thereby creating a gorgeous as well as re- useable gift wrap, which we include in our packaging to our customers. In addition, we wrap each item in recyclable cardboard and tie it with a beautiful and biodegradable paper ribbon. We identify each garment with a tag created from recycled paper and fasten it with natural hemp twine. We expect you to be 100% satisfied with your garment, however, we will be happy to issue a replacement product in the event of a manufacturer's defect, up to 30 days from date of purchase, provided our washing instructions have been followed.
